Nice intro to this chill show but I hope we get to see some more in-depth cooking from our cook Kiyo or even perhaps also get to see what a Maiko does.

Lol. So this is a "cooking" show, except the first "recipe" is "buy pudding from the store, then add whipped cream and stuff". The next recipe is "I made lots of food! It's nutritious right? What's nutritious? I dunno." Only the third recipe is an actual recipe.

Honestly they could have just made the episodes shorter like "Yakunara Mug Cup", and maybe had some real plot and animation going on. So far the plot is: "SHE IS THE ONE! SHE WILL BRING ABOUT THE MAIKOCALYPSE! ...but she's fat. And her friend is a failure at everything but she cooks for free, so we'll keep her around and act like we like her."

Kind of cool that I stayed in Kyoto for a few weeks and they were using real locations that I remember. I walked across that bridge at the end many times. (There's a good gelato place there!)

Very boring. I am pretty sure the story is supposed to be about maiko training....why so much focus on general household cooking? God it was just normal 24 minute episode yet it felt like it went on for more then an hour.

i saw this on netflix adaptation, man i wonder why this kind of anime didn't get any spotlight?

don't know how i feel about the 3d animation but still happy to see this made into an anime <3
